I wasn't in the army, I was raising sons that served their country, just like their father and grandfathers, cousins and uncles before them.

Just like someone who has a hard on for the US to ask stupid questions..reminds me of the bully in school who always asked "when did you do this or that" when he knew he was wrong.

You come off as very negative about the US, and then you accuse people who have not served in the military of not having "earned" the right to the freedom of speech. So, yes, you do make accusations and that seems like bully behavior.

I have no idea who you are or are not, nor do I really care. What I do care about is the right of people who are US citizens, and yes, out government has made many mistakes...

I will ask you, if you are so unhappy, then what do you suggest that you can do to help change some of the issues?

So Cheney is a coward for getting deferments from the Vietnam Conflict (not War)? Cowards for what? Not going to a conflict and killing the enemy?
