If I had a house or homestead that was worthy of a name, I would.

Yes, my home is named. It has some history from the Chippewa and from that the name "Enchatment" was given to it. I have also tagged it..."somewhere over the rainbow" I live on Lake Superior...the big lake they call Gitchi Gumee...and the land that I live on was once a place where tribal members came for healing. The waters on the shore here were believed to be enchanted and sacred. The Chippewa name for it is "Tala Hi" which is pronounced "Tall a he". many homes up here are named, and people name their camp too. Might be a YOOPER thing!! |

And I mean that. But all I could think about was your avatar and yelling "THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BE SILVER FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!" I never said I was normal. Never. |

i actually intend to, that's why i asked was hoping i could steal some ideas. well, if there is a history to the place then you could take something from that for a part of it... I use "somewhere over the rainbow" for a few reasons... ~it is a song that I love ~the lyrics mean a lot to me personally ~it is not in a town ~it is magical for me when I looked at the history, I thought I wanted to add a bit to that. so I started thinking about the things that were most meaningful to me...to my life. It was actually a serious decision for me...something that meant a lot to me. |
