A double-handful of years back, myself and another guy were doing construction work in Oshkosh. Literally hundreds of new roofs had to be put on houses due to severe storm damage, so we were there for the entire summer. Instead of making the trip home every night, we just got a campsite at a local campground, and we basically stayed there all summer. We'd go home on the weekends, but we'd leave the tents there, set up for when we returned after the weekend. One day, one of us got the bright idea of taking a piece of plywood and nailing a 2X4 on the back of it to make a sign. We poked it out in front of the campsite by a tree, and painted it up to reflect how we felt when we returned from those long days of roofing, being exhausted: "Camp F***-It" I have pictures of it somewhere, but I have no idea where they are. I'll have to see if I can scare them up.  |
