Don't you hate how a bad dream can make you not want to sleep. Especially when you wake up from the bad dream feeling totally exhausted. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. Far more so than when you first went to sleep.

I always wanted to paint, but I can't paint or draw. I sing, I have a so so voice with some training from years of chorus. But I always wish I sang better.

So I ended up dreaming that I could do both with stunning beauty. In the dream, I wrote a hauntingly beautiful song with Welsh influences about About four children playing a game out in the meadows on a hill side. Only there was a great tragedy because the one accidentally killed the other three. And in the dream I had painted a wonderful painting of the meadows that didn't actually show anything terrible, but yet when you looked at it, you could feel the horror and the tragedy of what happened.

In the dream, I was so traumatized by the horror of the story and painting tied in with the most hauntingly moving music that I was never able to paint or sing or write again.

I woke up feeling that horror and turned on cartoon network, afraid to close my eyes.

I don't think I've ever had a nightmare that was that beautiful and horrifying at the same time. It makes it seem that much worse.

I probably should not have gone to sleep with ear plugs in while listening to beautiful, but spooky, ambient music. Had it turned up just loud enough to hear hints of it through the earplugs. Yet this is my normal "helps me sleep" cd. I don't recall it ever inducing dreams like this one. I blame it on the ear plugs reducing the music to bare hints that wrecked havoc with my subconsious.

I just woke up sweaty all over from mine, even my legs... wierd.

I dreamed that I was walking to my Dads house in Florida, and then I had the choice to cross the side of this richie mansion, and when i did I realised I was really in their backyard, and i was ono.. trespassing, and

then I went through the side, to end up that I was on the roof, and this hill took me up on it, and when I reached the other side of the house it was like a 100 foot drop, and i was just looking for edges below.

I dropped down afraid Id break my ankles, and landed in the living room?

Then there was a man and a woman far across the huge room, and the man said "im going to call the police"

I said "oh please no! I was just trying to cross the side of the house!", and I found the door knob, and out I went.. I ran across the huge lawn, and i gotto the street. I crossed, and into these apartments where the cops hopefully wouldnt find me.

I was at first close to the street, and my dads was near,. but I had to hide from the cops.

I was lost!

Then I found a main street, where I was walking UPHILL, and could barely make it.. I was exausted!

I walked, and then all of a sudden I was in Texas, and I knew it, I was just in Florida! WTH?

SO then i started walking down the street, and I saw a black woman, and I asked her how far to my moms town? An she said "houstons that way" and I said so Dallas is that way?

She said yes.

I started walking, and this guy was walking past, and I saw him, and i said excuse me sir. In my pitiful condition he just pulled out his wallet, and he had a wad of hundreds, he pulled one out, and went to hand it to me, and then hesitated, and said "well".

I said, o please, sir, and he handed me the hundred, and then took a one dollar bill, and folded it into a paper airplane which gave me a sense of warmth and home, I sighted a telephone, and then I woke up.

I never get that feeling, even when I've had an utterly abominable nightmare...

Except these days, I'm in an ugly war with my landlady, and the only dreams I remember are starring her.sad2 scared

I haven't had a dream wake me, or even had a dream that I can actually remember, in 20+ years.
