If I'm ruffling anyone's feathers it's because I'm hitting close to home. Perhaps I've found someone's insecurities? I have NEVER said anything the least bit insulting to anyone on this or any other forum. Yes, there are women that are inteligent that are over 40, but that doesn't change the fact that there are more men with genius level IQs than there are women by about 5 to 1. As for men being smarter than women, I'm not even going to touch that bit of silliness, I'll just wonder why you changed the subject and then back out of the room because I just know when the other ladies read that, the crap is going to hit the proverbial fan. Some people actually do research and investigate more indepth to be able to back their theory rather than use one theory as fact. You just never know.. sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't... But, that is exactly my point. I'm out there "in the field" talking to people everywhere, most everyday doing my own research. The study above was on 100,000 people! I'd have to say it sounds pretty damn conclusive to me. If you have any evidence to the contrary please post it. I'm open minded and willing to learn. But, being flippant only serves to demonstrate that you have nothing to offer on the subject of any value. |

And your first mistake is thinking that just because it includes 100k people it's conclusive. It could be a million and it would still be flawed because it relies on flawed testing. Read your own article if you want proof of that. As for wiki you can type in anything you want and find so called "proof" of anything you like. I typed in "women are smarter than men" and got a whole list of articles claiming to prove just the opposite. Which is what I suspect you did to get the article you found. |

Not to mention while Wiki is decent as far as fact checking it's not perfect and it doesn't vouch for the correctness of an article only that it accurately copied what was said. the newer the study you'll find the more they lean the other direction. |
