Ok I've been gone for a while, so I'mma jus say... Spider-Man and Deadpool make a great team (Suicide Kings and [I believe] upcoming Spider-Man series) and I tip my cap towards Deadpool, obviously, maybe because I'm slightly insane or that I just enjoy the mix of immaturity mixed with brutality. Spider definitely has his share of funnies though, and I had forgotten until recent readings of past and present issues.

AND HOLY ****

The Hulk is dead. Who is Rulk? Is it general Ross? Did A.I.M. make Leonard Samson into a Jekyll/Hyde type schizo? A-Bomb is definitely iller than Abomination, but he's no match for Rulk or Hulk... and with the Dark Reign resuming, is there any hope now that the Green Giant with no finite strength barrier is gone?

My initial thought was "D'OH!!!"

But honestly, I think Disney's acquistion could be good and bad. If anything, they'll keep MARVEL Entertainment as a seperate branch of Disney ala Touchtone Pictures or Miramax Films, ya know? As long as Disney doesn't put their own 2 cents on some of the individual franchises. I sure as hell don't want to see Wolverine rockin' Mickey Mouse ears.

I would hope to see Pixar produced MARVEL animated feature. But that's just me.

Hoping that Pixar would only be the graphics and nothing more, they could make a wicked Silver Surfer or Doctor Strange flick. Its doubtful they will do anything anytime soon as Marvel still has deals with other companies for a lot of their character rights, but Disney wants them all back... and maybe that would be good. Especially how Ghost Rider was butchered... or the F4. I gotta say, even the spider-man flicks were complete crap. Lets hope they never give Bret Ratner another shot at one of their spin-offs too

Bret Ratner should never be allowed to direct another comic book/graphic novel film, ever! What happened to Storms accent in the 3rd X-Men film? He ruined what could have been a great trilogy.

They should make a Moon Knight movie. And they need to do it gritty and psychotic, no ******** lovey happy ending. Multiple personalities, avatar for the God of Vengeance, internal struggle to be a man yet destined for murder and madness in a world of crooks.

Joe Kelly (the bestest) on Deadpool:

"I have to admit some hesitation about working with Deadpool again, but it's been awesome. I love writing humor and since these have been shorter DP projects, humor is the focus. It's a little like going back to college for alumni weekend only to find your former drinking buddy who you used to drag around town getting into inconceivable amounts of trouble with is still there, but only now he's a professor and making a ton of money. So he takes you out for dinner and dares you to do a funnel, which you haven't done in years, and a few hours later you wind up in a backwards Tijuana 'dancing hall' on stage with...I've said too much. It's good to be writing Deadpool again."

Two cups action. One cup heart. And whole lot of self-referential wise cracking remarks. Mix it together and you got Deadpool. Might not be nutritious but it tastes great. Nuff said~

Its interesting to see how they're pulling everything together after Ultimatum. I am pretty disappointed in all the deaths of so many, but its always a more compelling story to rise above from a terrible fall. Gotta say, Dark Reign has me on lock. Slowly building to chaos, betrayal and doom!

Dark Reign is a great arc! i'm collecting the hell out of Dark Avengers and Sinister Spiderman (LOVE the new Venom!)

But i'm still thinking that my favorite series* is still The Ultimates. gotta love Avengers that have no problem killing! (and the story of Ultimate Black Panther is pretty badass!)

*Punisher will always be my favorite, but i was referring to superhero series there

I just watched the "Wolverine" movie; I think Hugh Jackman may actually be immortal...(drool, dribble..etc..)
