 “The Wishing Tree” I’ve been told about this old tree. That’s in a beautiful garden for all to see. You see it is only but a shell. But some use it like a wishing well. It is pretty and growing on the outside. But hollowed out and empty on the inside. Within it some will climb and look up at the sky. As they make a wish and ask out loud why? As they wish of things they wanted in the past. And they hope their wishes will come true at last. I guess if you looked at that old tree. Real hard you may be able to see. How much it resembles our own life. From the lifeless limbs you can see its strife. That it has clearly dealt with through the years. But even so it still appears. There is not even one single doubt. That even the harshest drought. Could make that tree give up and bend. For it has a purpose for those to crawl inside and pretend. As they make their wishes about life within. It is a magical place where some have never been. I was told to go there when the flowers were in full bloom. As you walk through the garden just the smell of the flowers perfume. They would surely guide you to this special place. That you could sit with nature and embrace. Then climb into that old tree and pretend. This is a place that wishes come true in the end. One I will surely make a point to go see and climb into as I look up and make a wish.   |

Ya know silly me today would have been a perfect day it has been raining but quit and the temperatures have been in the high 70's at that. Silly me it is suppose to stay this way for the next few days maybe I will have to stop and go to the Botanical Gardens within the next few days for I do live pretty close. Thank you so much Kristy . That is one of the most special things that someone has done for me. It is something that I will treasure for the rest of my life and I have made copies of it to give to my two daughters so that it will live on after me. Now go see it in the spring and make a little wish for me. Thanks again Kristy
