Seems to me there are people who would rather text, and people who would rather talk on the phone. With everyone here being so far away from each-other, for the most part, I thought it would be interesting to find out which one YOU would rather do to keep in touch long distance. I like texting more. As a mom who has had and is still working on a career, it's simply easier. With text, you don't have to worry about answering right away. You can do lots of things at once, and there are no awkward silences. Not to mention the fact that it's simply easier telling people... certain things... in text. Now you.  I hate the phone lol. I'd rather be fact to face, text is the next best thing, LOL. |

i like talkin, i get a 1 min convo done in a min. i am horible at spellin, and it takes me for ever to type words in, and i have a key board ha. my feelins mainly come from the fact that english does not agree with me (i know, its me), but alot of the time my hands r greasy, or so dirty i dont want to reach in my pocket, or drivin (not the smartes thing to do). simple questions, random nonsence, quiet sich's, or wen im realy bis i will text while on speaker.
other wise its a call. for me the tones, laughs, and instant responce give me much more gradifacation. but im a snappy type, get er dun. too many things to do besides spellin words wrong. |

Equus,maybe it I had more free time I'd be the same way. Wait, I have some NOW! Still getting used to that... LOL! Well, I'm never totally free. I'm either throwing the ball for the dog, watering flowerbeds (I wish we'd get a few days of rain!!!) gathering eggs, filling the water tanks, or carrying a chicken around on my shoulder. But that's the quietest/most free time I get that I'm not sleeping. LOLLOL! |

I rarely text. Only very short quick check in type of texts. The people I talk to from here, all 3 of them,  have my numbers and I have theirs. I don't
