I could not watch all of it because it was making me ill.

I am totally against animal abuse and have worked with stray

and abused animals for years. The abuse never gets any easier

to see that is for sure. It is so sick... explode

It's not only about the abuse. It's about the fact that there is a law
trying to be passed in your neighborhood calls SB 861. This law allows
for all pitbulls, rotweilers, dobermans etc to be euthanized. It's
called Breed Specific Legislation...and it's wrong.

Don't let it be passed in your region! It has already been passed in
Australia.

I agree that some breeds are naturally more aggresive than others. That
being said the main difference is the owner and the training. As my
Daddy always says, "If you're gonna train a dog, first you gotta have
more sense than the dog."

i completely agree with rambill.

it's not the animal. it's the owner.

who is anyone to say that because of a few bad owners it is the good
owners, the one who love their pets and who care for them, that should
be punished?

Too late bulldogs are already outlawed in chicago. if they find you with
one they will take it and kill it period.

I have a pit bull, rescue dog, and her name is Cookie. She is an
American Staffordshire. Someone took this beautiful dog and tethered her
by a wire. So she will permanently have a wire mark around one leg,
which might have an bone tumor trying to grow as I type. Then, if that
was not good enough, she is missing a toe, probably eaten by her
opponent. She has numerous scars on her stomach, and whoever had her
taught her to attack the arm, and hold on.
She finally forgot this trick. Now she dances to attack the mop. She
used to lay down with her feet up in the air when I wanted her to come,
and it turned out she was deaf. I think she was abused, traumatized, and
victimized, but she never said. So it has taken months, but she is
coming around. After she quit the pitiful howling, chewing the door
moulding, and wrinkling the mini blinds, she has become a wonderful
companion. But oh, if this dog could talk, the story she would
tell.

That is sad for sure. I hate to see anyone abuse animals, even the
human kind. :)
