Think of it as a positive .. at least your neighbours are concerned enough for the WHOLE 'HOOD that they acted upon it , rather then NOT... Just my opinion  your kidding right... A grown woman sitting alone on the step is a threat to the "hood"...  geez, even if I was getting high, a grown woman alone on her steps...hardly a menace to society. No I am not kidding and don't take my comments out of context  . I just meant that they care about the neighbourhood you are in , NOT that they are out to get you .... it was more of a WHOLE scene thing NOT to focus on you .... you see??.. no harm , no foul is my motto Yeah, I get ya, I don't take things personally. My community is full of way too many "dogooders" and this neighbor is not new to the neighborhood, they have seen me out there before..probably just having a bad day. I'll send em some love...

hmmmm....hope someone wasn't robbing the seven elevin while the fuzz was wasting time  We have a low crime rate, which is really nice actually. They need stuff to do otherwise they start pulling people over for lack of nothing better to do. They probably got pretty excited when they got the call.... woo hoo a drug bust.. I think you would look sexy in cuffs!!! Maybe to you, that is not a look I'm going for...

paintball there house   done it to my old neighbors. He was a nasty mean old man, chased kids off his lawn. He was obsessed with his drive way, had to be clean, perfect. He would sit outside an wait for something to fall on the driveway. He was even outside killing bugs that landed on his driveway. SO.... me an my father could not take it anymore, we went an got a paintball gun, got the paintballs (red) an let lose on his driveway. Was great to see him try to get the pain up. Took him about a month, he never found out it was us.

I'm sitting out side on my front steps last night smoking (I'm an outdoor smoker) and the cops come rolling up in front of my house. I'm looking around to see where their going because all is quiet in the neighborhood. They come up my sidewalk about the time I'm smashing my smoke out, and ask me for my cigarette. HUH?  They got a call that someone was doing drugs... I roll my own, have for a long time. It seems a neighbor saw me and thought I was smoking a joint. "ummm, sorry miss, have a great night." Then they go across the street to talk to the neighbor. Why can't people mind their own business..  I always smoke my joints outside, had the cops called once...so during the day I just stuff the marijuana in a cigarette tube. Maybe you should stuff your tobacco in a cigarette tube?

I understand totally and I was not offended either , my dear .... just know that EVERY 'hood has one .... the one on my street called the police numerous times about the couple who live across the street from her , their PORCH LIGHT was to bright keeping her awake at night....

However, their perception and assumption were incorrect. Circumstances should dictate reaction. If there were a couple of suspicious looking people standing on a corner smoking what appeared to be a joint that is cause to call the police. I think the neighbors WAY overreacted. And with this I TOTALLY agree, but again my response was more leaning towards helpful neighbours, not insecure, nervous NELLIE type people who were looking to cause trouble, or start a whole issue with the OP... I hope they are the former rather than the latter, but experience tells me otherwise. In either case, I believe calling the police was inappropriate at best. |

and again I say , you are totally correct ... way over reacting IN THIS CASE, as another poster says, they've seen her going to and coming from, her own house....I guess my original post was over analized ( oppsss ... my bad ..spelt it wrong BUT it is funny as hell )

I agree that her her neighbor was way out of line. Somtimes cops treat you like a criminal without witnessing a crime. That situation could have easily took a turn for the worse!
If your neighbor is elderly though.........Give her a pass(or a puff)  lol
