Well, my fiance' and I have been together almost a year now. There is not one thing that we aren't open and honest about. He knows everything about my past and he tells me everything about his. Plus, anything he doesn't tell me about his childhood I learn from his mom anyway.
 If you want a long-lasting relationship, you have to be open and honest with each other. That doesn't mean you have to spill the beans all at the same moment because a relationship is always about getting to know each other. So, my answer to you would be "no". Not telling a person everything about yourself at the very beginning of the relationship is not lying- unless the other person specifically asks you a question and you don't tell the truth.

Yes...although the degree of lie is the issue. So I guess I'm all for the little white lies. So long as it doesn't turn into a giant black monster lie |

I don't lie, well, I don't lie very well anyway...I'm one of those people that lie when I have no other excuses.
So few times does the excuse of "I was chased by a Yeti all the way to the border of Canada and had to walk back, that is why I'm late" ever actually work. |
