i think it depends on where you live and the age group you look at and of course there's always the individual.

here in the upper midwest it seems to matter a great deal on the woman's part until they reach their mid to late 30's and on up.

most guys around here will s<revv anything that moves so big girls don't have it too bad from what i've seen.
of course i'm not like most guys around here. i'm very particular when it comes to what i'm looking for physically.
so for me, size does matter.

And if you meet someone online, you are getting to know the person first. It might seem backwards, but aside from pics, it's the person, their likes, dislikes, personality etc that you get to know first.

Physical attraction is important no matter what anyone says. I was the biggest I've ever been about a year ago and have since dropped quite a bit of weight. I notice I get more attention being thinner but being heavier didn't impact my meeting someone and it turning into a relationship.

I'm still thick but I find that guys like it .... a lot

I tend to like conventionally unattractive men who are close to as tall as me. I seem to like them medium build to skinny but have dated heavier guys with no problem. I am just going on what the ex's have been here. To state that I will judge on weight though, no, I will not because I think a persons weight is no judgement of character at all and is shallow to think so.

As for what the OP said about thicker women being better woman to be with. I have heard that from alot of men. They say thicker girls are less obsessed with the shallow things in life and really like to enjoy things more. I don't know if that is true as I don't date women.

The stereotype prejudice that exists for over weight people is really bull **** and we as humans should be smarter than to buy into it. We have been shown that bone skinny is the end all but that is just the fashion, television, advertisement taking the easy way out. If they pick one type and push it, it makes their job easier than trying to cover all types of people. That is all that is.

I feel sorry for the people who buy into it and spend their whole lives trying to fit the unattainable image from the tv. It is really sad.
