JMO...but I see nothing wrong with preferences when it comes to being physically attracted to someone as long as they are hateful to others So you think you would rather have a good looking man that treat's you bad.... Something is wrong with this picture.....To each his own I guess.... May you get what you ask for... did I say that???? I don't believe so. I said there is nothing wrong with having physical preferences. and what I find is good looking may not be what others find good looking...it is just a different in preference. Please don't read into something I didn't say Yellow, your quote said that you saw nothing wrong with preferences as long as they are hateful to others...perhaps you didn't mean that? Sounds like you must have meant as long as they are not hateful to others... |

I've notice that 96% of big men want thin women and 4% of big women want thin men. Doesn't anyone care about someone personality and how that person makes you feel inside and out. i'm in that 96%. harpoon my fat a$$ for it. i don't really care. i will not apologize for having preferences. if looks didn't matter, then neither would gender. if it was just about how a person made you feel when you were with them then any old friend would do as long as they made you feel special. i guess we should all just be bisexual. . . . Drew, we have had this discussion and argument until we have turned blue in the face...if you judgue a person soley lon their looks you are going to be sad, disappointed, and lonely for the rest of your life...incidentally, are you seeing anyone right now??? Preferences are ridiculous to make in my opinion....if any of you are anything at all like me, you have an idea of what you think you want in your mind, but then if someone great came along that was everything you never thought you wanted, but just made you feel wonderful in every way and completely adored you, you would fall head over heels in love with them...be they big, small, tall, short, cute, homely, etc....

I know looks alone won't make a good or healthy relationship. and I really don't have many preferences except height, but I can see the point. IMO there needs a healthy balance of attaraction inside and out.
for example..the first thing if I'm out that catches my eye is the appearance and if I'm attracted (or if they are attracted to me). then I get to know them...if they are a jerk or something like that...I don't care what they look like. I won't put up with it |

Why are we being so condescending about thread topics anyhow? As it has been said before......new people come along and don't read through tons of old posts, they write what is on their mind. I'm sure we have all been there and done that before. I know I have. Yes, they get old, but sometimes we might find a sentence or two that's different.
I'm feeling very charitable towards repetition today. Soon as I said that, there will be 5 nice guy posts made...

Hmmmmmm...just a thought.... i realize that you believe that physical attraction has no significance whatsoever and if that works for you, good. but if you pay attention, i'm not the only one who says that looks have some importance. a blob with a great personality may work for you, but i personally want someone that i enjoy looking at. do not think that i am beating away women with a stick. i get dismissed based on my looks just like anyone else. i don't live in a perfect world and i'm not going to gouge out my eyes just so that i don't have to worry about being physically attracted to a person. . . . |
