Sometimes I wonder why some people are even on a "dating site" at all, and list themselves as wanting to date, when it's clear they dislike or even hate the gender they're trying to be with. If every woman is a b!tch, a whore, a liar, only wants the "bad boy" while you describe yourself as the "nice guy," a cheater, a game player, sneaky and conniving, a ball buster, a gold digger, only into looks while you think you have a great personality and doesn't appreciate you for "being yourself" WHY are you trying to date/get married/be in a relationship at all?
My profile clearly says I'm only here for friends, but if I set my preference to wanting to date, I'd feel pretty silly being a man basher. How do you desire what you also despise? Discuss!

it's their personal defense for their own insecurities is all. they wanna get the upper hand and cheat to the draw, and run when things don't go their way, such as being turned down. then they let you have it and run........it's the wussy brigade......
don't have second thoughts about them. |

WTH!?!? This is a dating site??
  I have no idea why. If they're not over their past, or at least can put in into proper perspective with time and closure, then they are not ready to date yet, but at any rate shouldn't be trashing the other side while complaining about the other side trashing them. jmo

I was JUST thinking this a little bit earlier!!!! Tonight I've read more bashing about women from men and men from women, and marriage. I thought, boy, all this negativity is soooo appealing. I think for the MOST part, people meet each other, or at least get to know one another through the boards here. (Some behind the scenes in email) If I were looking, and read some of the things I've read tonight, I'd have had a check list in my lap going, nope, not him! and nope Definitely not him!

Well I'm not particularly shy, somewhat, until I get to know someone better. But I am definitely not socially unacceptable. But I do agree that when someone reads others say things like, lie to them, play their game, marriage sucks, it doesn't really make ya want to reach out and email'm!

Nice guys can't finish the race because they spend the beginning of it complaining that the "bad guys" are cheating, thus losing the advantage in the race while the other guys are already far ahead of them.
Complain less, learn more, and move on...if something doesn't work, change it, make the alterations necessary...or continue to make the same mistakes over, and over, and over, and over, over, over, and over again. Simple really, just nice people that screw the whole process up... |
