I've NEVER taken my son to the ER. There is rarely a need for such a thing. Unless you over-react to just about everything. I took him to urgent care about a year ago to get an x-ray to R/O a hairline fracture of the elbow as he landed on his palm and wasn't using his arm. It was negative, but I had to be sure. He resumed use of his arm in a couple days. If there is a concern, I call my family doctor (well, okay I usually call me dad, a pediatrician)... and I ask for guidance. my son i took to urgent care 2 times for stitches, and once to the er. for that time, i would of even if urgent care was still open, he had a blow dart gun<plastic and rubber darts> and was behind me with it in his mouth. unaware of course, i shut the bedroom door and it shoved in his mouth and cut that thing off that holds your tounge to the bottom of your mouth. omg that scared me! once my oldest daughter went to the er also... ambuliance took her though...she had a bad bicycle accident.. but a bug bite? i do wonder in the end... what kind of bug bit him? did he tell you tanya? severe reaction to a mosquito bite

You know what the treatment is for that? Benadryl and bleach water. I'd stop talking to him for being such a dumbazz if nothing else. But again... I'm a biotch.

I didn't get him on the phone to see if he actually did have a severe reaction. I don't know... he just might be annoying for running the kid into the hospital all the time!

Tanya does he live in Zimbabwe? If no, the ER for a bug bite is REDONKULOUS. It should be illegal, like filing a false police report. (except bee stings, those are deadly in a few cases)

I agree always listen to you 'inner voice'. Most likely right on! I would ask to meet in real llfe that is the big test if he is really into you and if he is married as to were, when etc. I hate it that some guys choose to lie and play with us single woman like this and get us emotionally attached to them then.."Oh by the way...does it bother you I am married, bisexual etc" Hope you find the truth out soon.
