Well, it might be me, for obvious reasons. There are trigger kinds of things, ya know. But if you're an emotional type.......

I loved that the people who spoke told the stories of the life of Michael...his brothers, his friends...those are the times in the memorial that really got to me... at my son's memorial my daughter and I both spoke...and the memorial we had out in Colorado in the Rockies...so many of his friends spoke..they told story after story...it was wonderful!! Those were the moments in the memorial that were really difficult for me...yet, the most precious to me at the same time. May God Bless those children and the family so that someway, someday they may find a way to make the pain they are in livable for it will NEVER go away... This song was played at my son's memorial and I will put the lyrics here~ When I get where I'm going on the far side of the sky. The first thing that I'm gonna do Is spread my wings and fly. I'm gonna land beside a lion, and run my fingers through his mane. Or I might find out what it's like To ride a drop of rain (Chorus:) Yeah when I get where I'm going, there'll be only happy tears. I will shed the sins and struggles, I have carried all these years. And I'll leave my heart wide open, I will love and have no fear. Yeah when I get where I'm going, Don't cry for me down here. I'm gonna walk with my grandaddy, and he'll match me step for step, and I'll tell him how I missed him, every minute since he left. Then I'll hug his neck. (Chorus) So much pain and so much darkness, in this world we stumble through. All these questions, I can't answer, so much work to do. But when I get where I'm going, and I see my Maker's face. I'll stand forever in the light, of His amazing grace. Yeah when I get where I'm going, Yeah when I get where I'm going, there'll be only happy tears. Hallelujah! I will love and have no fear. When I get where I'm going. Yeah when I get where I'm going. |

Deb Thank you Connie~ I just feel for that family so much...the sudden and unexpected death is so difficult, as is any death of a loved one... they are a real family...maybe a bit different than yours or mine, yet a family none the less... May the peace and light of love guide them through their painful road... |

I pray he finally found peace and got the chance to be the child he missed out on. The man needed his rest from the wolves. It's almost a tragedy but he was a decent man with alot of talent.

I feel for his family.
I shed a few tears today watching the memorial...lol I don't cry easily. Many that spoke & preformed at the memorial have lost love ones. I'm glad I allowed myself to be touched by the music through the years. I appreciate the difference he truly made in this world. Many are called few are chosen, it's obvious he was chosen. Chosen to make a difference. I hope we can follow his lead, and make this world a better place. Rest in Peace...MJ Peace |

I truly hope that MJ finds peace and sees all the love that people around the world had for him....he was so lonely here on earth....if only he could have really known the love!
As for those who judged him....only God has that right, I personally am not God so I ignored all of the ugliness. What a great humanitarian he was. Let us not forget that even though he was an outstanding entertainer....he was even more of a kind loving soul that wanted to bring love, happiness, health, and peace to the world. May he rest in peace among the angels. |
