In all fairness, I never saw any names mentioned. All I saw were some folks jumping to conclusions and making assumptions. As long as we're being vague, we can say whatever we want, right?

profiles? I just  threw up in my mouth a bit..
One thing that totally turns me OFF in profiles that I read, that view me or want to "match" with me: "I love to please, looking for a woman who loves to be pleased". 
What turns you off? The fact that 97.3% of them are all exactly the same 12-15 cliches randomly assembled in slightly different orders.... The fact that few bother to say anything about themselves, about who they are, why they're here, what they're looking for.... The fact that no thought goes into the summary, into the pics, into anything.... The fact that most profiles are slightly less comprehensible than one written by a blindfolded duck.... The fact that people will post pics of more than one person, and never bother to say which one the profile belongs to.... I really could write a book.... That's always great when you get to guess, isn't it? I've seen some profiles (here and other sites) that have ONE picture, and there are multiple women in the picture ... and no indication as to which one is the one writing the profile!

when thinking of life's little annoyances it is important to keep in mind that there is always a glimmer of hope...a guiding light if you will in that window of the place on the hill.

Biggest turnoff about a profile is anyone under age 25 with kids. It is disturbing. 
While I'm certainly not looking for someone under 25 at this point, if I were, it definitely wouldn't bother me if she had children. I'm trying to figure out exactly what would be "disturbing" about that ...

some would see having kids at an early age as a sign of a promiscuous youth or bad judgement. some might worry that someone (male or female) who had to raise kids at an early age never got to experience the fun of their youth and would want to do it later in ways that would cause relationship issues. i'm not saying i agree or disagree. i've seen those things be correct but i've also seen people who simply found the right person and wanted to start a family by their early 20s.
my mom was 25 and my dad was 26 when i was born. my sister and her husband just had one a month before her 26th birthday. not quite the same as being 25 and having a 9 year old though. ha. |
