how do you think stone cold would do against some of the really good and popular ufc fighters? think he would have a chance?

Absolutely not. Even if he is a decent wrestler, the talent in the UFC now would destroy him just because mixed martial arts has so many different aspects. Austin from 10 years ago plus several years of mixed martial arts training might be different. But presently, he'd get annihilated.

Austen is a show wrestler with limited real skills, plus he has a messed up neck. Steven Regal has legit skills and Booker T decked Bastita with one punch backstage.

As TB mentioned, Stone Cold's hurt neck is the reason why he is not an "in-ring competitor" on the WWE anymore.
If he wasn't hurt, it would be interesting to see, but the reason why he isn't wrestling anymore is the reason why we will never see him in a MMA style fight. |

Certain professional wrestlers with a background in freestyle wrestling would have a very good chance in mixed martial arts (UFC). Brock Lesnar is an obvious choice. Bobby Lashley has turned some heads as a fighter. Were he a few years younger and not bogged down with injuries, I believe Kurt Angle could have given anyone a run for his money. The old Golden Age wrestlers such as Frank Gotch, Ed "the Strangler" Lewis, John Pesek and Lou Thesz would have thrived in today's UFC. But Steve Austin? An accomplished wrestler on the professional side, but one that isn't trained in any fighting style...so, that would be no, obviously. Hell, the guy doesn't even wrestle professionally anymore because of his bad neck and a probable heart condition. |

No, even with a healthy neck without the requisite skills he'd get the crap beat out of him. Brock is able to transition because A) he's a freak athlete, rare combination of speed with his size and power. B) he's an accomplished collegiate wrestler (knows how to really wrestle) and C) he's near 300 pounds and has to cut to 265, there simply aren't many heavyweights that are close, a lot of UFC heavy weights are about 240-250, when Brock enters the ring he's probably about 280.
Kurt Angle is the only other wrestler I think off the top of my head who might do well since again, he's actually a great Olympic level wrestler and not an actor. |

But you have to admit a villain in the UFC is $$$$ but I think Brock will quit after he get's knocked out once...that's why i'm hoping UFC get's Fedor....I think he could be the one to do it! |

It's not rocket science why hes winning, but it is unfair in my opinion. |
