Thank you for recognizing the strength of this woman. flowerforyou
She was certainly a classy lady and a teen idol for many, but maintained a fairly normal life although being a superstar. She handled fame and fortune so much better than the other departed soul.

I have rubbed one out to that poster since I was a kid...

Not really sure that there is a higher honor that a juvenile delinquent can pay to Farrah....She took me to bed so many times with that poster tacked up on the ceiling...I am pretty sure she wanted me!!!!!

i pity you that that is all you can think of , and really hope that maybe someday you can keep things that are personal to yourself , and i would have hoped at this age you could have had more control of your urges or at least to be running them out of your mouth !!!!!!!!!!

Think what you like Misty...keep your judgment to yourself...

I love and remember Farrah in my own way...count yourself lucky if someone is willing to masturbate in you memory after you have passed away.

At least it is a form of rememberance...few of us will have anyone remember us 10 years after we pass away...

If, in 10 years I am still rubbing one out to a child hood beauty dream...THEN GOOD FOR HER.

Back off sister.

I gotta say I agree with Krupa on this one, almost. I had Farrah and the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader posters. Why do you think so many women are crying over Michael Jackson?!

Farrah wasn't the only person to battle cancer, y'know. There are millions more out there just as brave as she was. She was just a well-known cancer patient. Many others couldn't afford to jet across the world for "alternative treatments" either. The ones fighting it with limited means are the REAL 'heroes'.

Please allow me to put this in a non offensive way...

Farrahs smile and eyes were a huge influence on my art

and her tv shows were a huge influence on me before they invented porn on vhs...

When I wasn't being sexually fascinated with her as a kid , I was just as fascinated with Barbra Eden, I dream of Jeannie, Samantha from bewitched and Mary Ann and Ginger from Gilligan's Island.....

If any of those dolls drop off to get planted in the bone orchard...I will pay them the respects I paid when I was 10.

People are different...I see things from a different perspective...

The ones who made me happy....I keep happy in my memory.

Agreed....

Now, if you mean that...I would expect an apology...

You know..the "Act your age and quit running my mouth" thing.

I had mine over the cieling on my bed Pats...(we didn't have any clue of the term sexist in the late 70's early 80's.)

God help me when Linda Carter pases away cause Wonder Woman was the hottest chick I EVER saw!...I will probably yank my manpart off in her memory.

Dang it....I wandered off tangent again...sorry...

If you're gonna start a thread, at least be respectful of others' thoughts and opinions. If you can't, don't start a thread at all.

No please the Diana version was too much for me. I still prefer the original from Yellow Brick Road myself. Like I said the only difference between Farrah and any other cancer patient was that she could afford more treatment and she was in the public eye. Doesn't make the woman a hero tho, hm?

We cannot say that we are going to honor someone and when someone DOES then say, "BZZZZ! Wrong! Incorrect honoring!" If someone fantasized that Farrah was their big sister who wore combat boots then that was very special to that person. We need to be nice.

Look, I think it boils down to this, Farrah was a sex symbol when she was most famous. She promoted he sexy image and made lots of money off of it. She was also a real and brave person. That can not always be said for sex symbols.
