i've seen alot more love online than hate. and which one is stronger? the one you allow to be. i'd rather wrap myself in like and love then to ever be ruffled by hate. i believe it's easy for people to fall for their perception of someone on line and i also believe it's easy, absent tone and body language, for people to take things wrong, thus dislike. and is it real? for some, yes it probably is, but in either love or hate's case, both are intended to be experienced in person to make a true determination. IMHO

I just can't work up enough of an emotional investment to hate anyone here --
Don't get me wrong, there have been those who could leave without me feeling any tinge of regret....! But that's not hate, it's more like annoyance. The only ones who ever really annoy me anymore are the true cliquers, and there are relatively few of them now, and they tend to stick to their own little "designated areas." |

I agree that I always kind of laugh at the "love" being
thrown about after about a week of emailing someone. It's doomed from the start. It seems immature, yet I often wish I myself could be more free with my emotions...so there is some goodness in it as well. I don't personally hate anyone from these forums, but there are times when I just shake my head and think "whatever idiot". Probably still not the best frame of mind because I am judging someone, but what else can you do? We can't possibly have a fondness for every member. Ultimately, I think we could all agree that this is by far, one of the better communities out there. |
