but I do agree....racism has nothing to do with this

Well I would say it does if someones opinion is based on it, just hard to prove, and a racist isn't going to tell you..

I was referring to MJ lol

Ya, I know. You thought I meant Oj? Never quite got why he came into the picture.

I would guess with regard to Robert Blake, that he served time in jail because he was charged with murder, awaiting his trial. Seems I remember he finally did post the bail, which was high, but was under house arrest pending the outcome.

Its overwhelming to me how so many have convicted a guy that there was absolutely no proof. And how so many did not convict when there was absolutely hard proof that oj did it.
I wish people would quit trying to compare apples to oranges here.

If the very same people would get involved with the missing and exploited children drives...we might get somewhere. Where are these people when child porn is so abundantly advertised and used by our neighbors, uncles, brothers, fathers....where are you then? If you put as much energy in helping these causes...."of course it takes much more than biching to get it done", then some of these children could be helped and the real pedophiles and child molesters would be put away.....but no...some must put down and cry guilty when he was already proven not guilty, not once, not twice, not three times...more times than not...well...not even a not!

Why is it so hard for you to believe that these parents played a huge role in getting rich off Michael....because they could. I hope since his death they get 'nada". This was a witch hunt and nothing else. This man was a sweet, loving innocent in life guy who thought he was doing good.

I will never believe he was guilty til it can be proven.

I was molested as a child....one who has been molested can feel it. See it. We can almost smell a child molester from far away. He was not one.

RIP Michael.

No sane person approves of the abuse of a child but it has to be proved and unfortuneately that was not done.

Would I allow my child; desperately ill or not, to spend the night with a star or any other stranger? No.

But if you are poor and think it might be the one magical moment in their life and you have a host of "do gooder's" pressureing you to make your child's dream come true (and were promised supervision) maybe you would be too intimadated into saying no.

The sad fact is society pays lip service to the saftey of children from preditors. We do little or nothing to screen adults access to cildren.

If you try to keep your child out of mainstream activities such as sleep overs, summer camp, school trips, showering at a sports facility, even useing a public bathroom because we let convicted preditors loose in society you are seen as the crazy one stunting their normal social developement.

drinker cheers...

You can really dislike a person's personal choices and still admire their craft and the many people who worked for and profit from enjoying it.

If the artist in question has done, and more importantly been convicted of, the crimes he is accused of then tie up his assets for the victims makes sense.

However boycotting the product; or thinking people who enjoy the decent things he did are weird or supporting his terrible actions does not make sense to me. That is like blameing a child produced by a rape a rapist. Fine to loath this kind of criminal but you can not make evil people suffer by spreading the misery to their family, friends, coworkers, or employees.
 He went to trial and was found not guilty. The only victim is him, of being shookdown for cash:smile:

Mirror.. Mirror.. I like you because you are for the truth and not racist!

I cant believe that people are so quick to judge , I believe if ANY THING was happening to those kids, it would have came out, I love kids and my grand niece spends the night with me every now and then, but that doesnt make me a pedophile, it means that I love her and enjoy spending time with her!! Only God can judge him, And I WILL not pretend to think I am God!!

whos pretending to be god? and a few million dollars and a gag order can go a long way toward shutting someone up

because o j was also acquitted of the charges brought against him

as was m j but not very often did that seem to matter when it came to talking about him

so why the double standard

it an example that law is faliable and just because someone is not found guilty doesn't mean that they are not. most people i've met or talked to believed that OJ and MJ were both guilty. the comparison is bit unfair to mj because OJ was later arrested so it's much more likely that he was guilty. unfortunately it's the only popular case of people believing non-guilty defendants are guilty that i can think of.

both of them also faced two similar cases. luckily OJ lost the second one but MJ won both of his.
 It was shown in court during the MJ trial that the accuser and his family were lying:smile:

good point, i definitely remember that the parents were shady. : )

I am not saying he's guilty or not gulity for sure. i think there is definitely too much speculation and evidence for him to be given a clean slate again. like it was when he was in the 80's. if I was MJ and was innocent i would have volunteered for the polygraph or would of at least written an autobiography to prove i was.

The parents where bought!!! no sh## they acted funny

Yeah, they acted funny. They couldn't get their story straight and were found to be liars.

I think people that admired his music and all the good he did in the world wont even think of accusations, cause thats all they were, He deserves some measure of respect as almost all of us do!!

I admire his music, but i cant turn a blind eye to the accusations.

In fact, i think its quite sick that many people seem to beable to.

I cant wait for all the new evidence and accusations to come to light. I have previously said, he is unable to shut people up now. People should be careful how much support they are showing him.

EVIDENCE? None!

ohwell Seems to some he is guilty, although found not guilty in court.ohwell

whos court???? do you have faith in court i i mean OJ is innocent to

What does OJ have to do with MJ? You may not like our court system but we still do need proof, not emotion to convict.

BINGO! right on man... I am glad you believe in our system because I do!

For those who don't believe in our Judicial system: Try living in IRAN or Saudi Arabia right now..

I'll bet, you will appreciate america, the land of the free!

wtf ever they spent years killing each other to have their f'd up government we spent years giving our sons fathers and brothers to have an upright country and a fair Judaical system and if you think for one second that cash is NOT king then your living out there on never land

I'm Gonna Make A Change,
For Once In My Life
It's Gonna Feel Real Good,
Gonna Make A Difference
Gonna Make It Right . . .

As I, Turn Up The Collar On My
Favourite Winter Coat
This Wind Is Blowin' My Mind
I See The Kids In The Street,
With Not Enough To Eat
Who Am I, To Be Blind?
Pretending Not To See
Their Needs
A Summer's Disregard,
A Broken Bottle Top
And A One Man's Soul
They Follow Each Other On
The Wind Ya' Know
'Cause They Got Nowhere
To Go
That's Why I Want You To
Know

I'm Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
I'm Asking Him To Change
His Ways
And No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change
(Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change)
(Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah)

I've Been A Victim Of A Selfish
Kind Of Love
It's Time That I Realize
That There Are Some With No
Home, Not A Nickel To Loan
Could It Be Really Me,
Pretending That They're Not
Alone?

A Willow Deeply Scarred,
Somebody's Broken Heart
And A Washed-Out Dream
(Washed-Out Dream)
They Follow The Pattern Of
The Wind, Ya' See
Cause They Got No Place
To Be
That's Why I'm Starting With
Me
(Starting With Me!)

I'm Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
(Ooh!)
I'm Asking Him To Change
His Ways
(Ooh!)
And No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change)

I'm Starting With The Man In

I'm Asking Him To Change His
Ways
(Change His Ways-Ooh!)
And No Message Could've
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make That . . .
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make That . . .)
Change!

I'm Starting With The Man In
The Mirror,
(Man In The Mirror-Oh
Yeah!)
I'm Asking Him To Change
His Ways
(Better Change!)
No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make The Change)
(You Gotta Get It Right, While
You Got The Time)
('Cause When You Close Your
Heart)
You Can't Close Your . . .Your
Mind!
(Then You Close Your . . .
Mind!)
That Man, That Man, That
Man, That Man
With That Man In The Mirror
(Man In The Mirror, Oh Yeah!)
That Man, That Man, That Man
I'm Asking Him To Change
His Ways
(Better Change!)
You Know . . .That Man
No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change)
Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah
(Oh Yeah!)
Gonna Feel Real Good Now!
Yeah Yeah! Yeah Yeah!
Yeah Yeah!
Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah
(Ooooh . . .)
Oh No, No No . . .
I'm Gonna Make A Change
It's Gonna Feel Real Good!
Come On!
(Change . . .)
Just Lift Yourself
You Know
You've Got To Stop It.
Yourself!
(Yeah!-Make That Change!)
I've Got To Make That Change,
Today!
Hoo!
(Man In The Mirror)
You Got To
You Got To Not Let Yourself . . .
Brother . . .
Hoo!
(Yeah!-Make That Change!)
You Know-I've Got To Get
That Man, That Man . . .
(Man In The Mirror)
You've Got To
You've Got To Move! Come
On! Come On!
You Got To . . .
Stand Up! Stand Up!
Stand Up!
(Yeah-Make That Change)
Stand Up And Lift
Yourself, Now!
(Man In The Mirror)
Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
Aaow!
(Yeah-Make That Change)
Gonna Make That Change . . .
Come On!
(Man In The Mirror)
You Know It!
You Know It!
You Know It!
You Know . . .
(Change . . .)
Make That Change.
