Respect where respect is due...

What an entertainer! What music! Brilliant. A legend.

But he was still a pedophile.

Shame on him.

Prove he was a pedophile.

Prove OJ was a murderer. same thing. I hope you all cry as much about a football icon as this supposed music icon.

None of us really know if he was guilty or not. And because he payed does'nt nessessarily mean he was guilty either. Anyway I won't be bashing the dead. I do believe he was a troubled soul. May he rest in peace.

I just find it hard to believe if he was innocent why did he pay out the money that he did...

People pay out all over the place to stop the endless bleeding. It's not unusual to pay out to prevent even more endless drama and trials etc.

a big difference is the victim's family didn't settle. after found not guilty in the criminal trial...they didn't settle in the civil trial. the civil trial found OJ guilty.

Some people just cannot seem to give the respect of a death. I hope when all of them die they will be given much more respect than they gave to others.

Respect is earned in life. And repaid in death. Death does not earn your respect. jmo

You get back the respect you give out in life. Micheal was never convicted of anything. So you cannot say he was guilty but yet you are willing to deny him respect?
have you guys every seen the video we are the world that michael did with almost all races and all stars? hes a legend

Yes it was great, will be remembered.. Loved the songs from we are the world, stil have it somewhere, I wore it out.

I agree. This case SHOWED a family that felt wronged. The MJ cases did not.

I agree. that's why I wouldn't trust anything the parents of these kids had to say even if their tongues came notarized. they wanted money from beginning to end. why else let your child go there and not supervise them at all times?

My gut feeling is that Michael was a not guilty of any of this child molestation stuff. I think he was a very strange and pitiable individual, but I do not think he was bad.

He's dead. If you hated him, isn't that enough? Must you make jokes?

And by the way, it's Michael. M-i-c-h-A-E-l.

I agree frankly, Micheal was the perfect target because of the kids in his life. Personally I think he was trying to relive a childhood he actually did not have. I never pitied him, I think he did the very best with his life considering that he was troubled.

I agree. I saw interviews with the other kids and the dad about the childhood. he had NONE and abuse involved. yes IMO he was disturbed...but I won't label someone as a child molester...let alone make jokes about the molestation...without proof

On my way to work today I hear that Farrah Fawcett had died and the commentator added "the best thing that ever happened to Charlie".

On the way home from work I hear that Michael Jackson had died.
And here I see judgement, unkind remarks, and the inability of humans to see the value of other humans.

To us Farrah was an actress a success in her trade, that means she entertained us well. She became a spokes-woman for cancer, she served the community.

Michael was a talented and creative entertainer. This is attested to by the millions he earned, by the demand of those who danced, sang and applauded his music. He too was a success in his trade and he entertained us well. We cannot possibly know what his life was like, we cannot possibly know of his guilt or innocence.

What we do know is that today two people, two human beings, who had a great impact on millions by bringing them happiness, have passed away and there are few voices raised to recognize the good, but many who pass vicious judgement on what they cannot possibly know.

Compassion must be a difficult virtue to achieve.

We were made privy to much of the evidence in the OJ case. Much of it indisputable DNA evidence. The Michael case was based largely on testimony by witnesses that may or may have not been credible. An impartial jury decided who they believed. And obviously, so have you without even hearing the evidence presented in court as you were not there.

I believe without a doubt that OJ is guilty. But being an individual of some class and compassion, you will not see me dancing in the streets as you are now when he dies. He will meet his maker. And there will be no more lawyers to protect him.
If Michael is guilty as you believe, he will pay up, too.

Like posted in another thread.

In the OJ case the family acted as if they had been wronged and persecuted who they thought was guilty to fullest extent of the law. They lost their criminal case and won on the civil case.

In the MJ cases the families did not persecute to the fullest extent of the law. MJ technically put himself in a vulnerable position with his antics and may have been taken advantage of for it. But the families did not act like families of molested children to me. No amount of money can compensate for a molested child.
So it doesn't make sense.

Because some here obviously were witnesses to Michael's crimes. Funny thing, they didn't do anything about it then.

I'm not allowed to mention names, but some people here make me sick to my stomach.

Everybody on this post and everywhere else talk like they have never did any wrong. Please save your comments, because I bet there are a lot people out there that have done worse then what he did, if he did it. Yes, I loved him and his music and I did have my doubts about him when he went to court. I was like I don't know what to think, but if he did do it than he have to answer to God about that. It makes me question the parents of the kid. They are much in the blame for taking money from him and still let their kids still go to his house. There you have people coming from everywhere that want to sue him for something. Like the female the Thiller video, come on now why are she going to wait all these years to sue him, because her azz proably broke. That is why these celebrites need to be careful how they treat people and how they handle their business, because that s**t is going to come back to bite them in the azz. I do still love Michael Jackson and I hope his family get though this time of lost. I don't wish any bad on anyone.
