Fear....the way I read the OP was in response to the emails from these guys...not in general. some people don't want kids (whether they don't like them or their kids are grown or whatever) that isn't a problem. But (at least for me) I responded to it being clear on her profile and the emails saying what they did So what? I get e-mails constantly because my profile says "I like serial killers and bugs" and on top of that my profile pictures are always of some prolific serial killer. I get tons of hate-mail, am I going to post a topic about it every time it happens? Prolific? Aren't serial killers prodeathic???

guess i thought this was a place to talk and vent a little. I have been debating on whether to say this or not in the past....some people forget they were once new to the forums and that they themselves have posted repeat topics or venting topics. you have nothing to apologize for or explain IMO |

Prodeathic? I'm not sure what that means. But no, they are prolific: Producing in large quantities or with great frequency. |

I completely agree with Fear that some people here were "lashing out". And for the person who thinks that not wanting to date someone because they have young children, smoke, drink, do drugs, or whatever the case may be is "discriminating", you are way off base. It IS a preference. I for one do not want to date men who have young children living with them. I just don't want to deal with it. It doesn't mean I think the little guys aren't people too! Nor would I EVER write someone and say those things unsolicited and I'm sorry the OP has had to deal with such rudeness.

I think if you dont like kids, you should move on, and not approach people who have kids in their life, and then go.. "o no I dont do kids."
I for sure think its rudeness, weather you tell the person, or just pass them up because of it saying nothing. Good parents should be honored, and anyone willing to help a child. "Oh I dont want a nurturer,ohh nooo" lol |

But with all due respect, I believe you are contradicting yourself. What other choice is there if you are being rude to say something and being rude to just pass them up? |

I do understand that many would not want to get involved with a yound kid, and I can understand that. What I don't understan is the things they say.I have on my profile in plain site that I am raising my grandson,so if that is a problem to them they should just go on. But instead they send emails saying just stupid and hateful things. That is what I don't understand.I wasn't trying to bash anyone for any reason You can click on the block button. It they really cross the line, click on the report button too. I'm sorry that you're getting emails from creeps like that.
