what a mess this immigration subject has become eh?


my daughter sent me a link....i have no idea how real and legitamate it
is.

but it was this guy who had homesteaded the Moon and our Galaxy/Solar
System and was selling real estate.....


just WHAT IF, humanity was forced as a whole to immigrate to another
planet...


who would have authority to catagorize or qualify the legitimacy of
immigration ?

is it first come first serve? if so ,then are we not predisposed for
conflict under such circumstances?


we have all been born on this planet...yep all of us

no one is excluded...

since many of this forum believe in God, then .....i have to ask, by
who's authority did you come to be here? to arrive here on Earth?


and why would you be any more or less a Human than someone who arrived
in India or China or Mexico or Wisconsin?
and as a Human member of this planet i am no different than any other
Human and we are all entitled to live on this Earth.


As Humans.....we have really worn out some areas in the garment of our
Cultural Development as a specis.....

This Garment has been woven with the wonders and horrors of our growth
and development.....sometimes it seems we patched it all too hastily,
with fabrics we thought at the time would protect us as a specis from
extinction . we developed mechanisms and hierarchies, we interpreted the
mysteries of our existence thru religion and . we built governments and
Philosophies...these patches in the structure of the WHOLE GARMENT, by
virtue of necessity, have territory , have form and like a patch on a
garment have borders.

and they remain long after their usefulness and purpose is finished....


i view life in it's revelation of the macrocosm and the microcosm...
i interpret with feeble humour, thru the metaphors i write with, bear
with me lol!!!


havn't you ever had a favorite garment that you had to mend quickly, and
then once done, never returned to it to mend it correctly and
beautifully?

i have...hehheh so we have humanity wearing her beautiful costume ,
her coat of many colours, and it wears out, gets patched and on and on
and on until it is hard to recognize the foundation anymore...and indeed
the beauty of the coat itself commands better attention than this,

but here we are...what do we do ? throw out the whole garment? nuke
humanity and the planet?

now we have a conflict of designers working on the coat and none of the
patches seem to fit together anymore....

i collect antique chinese and japanese textiles and restore them as a
hobby.....sometimes an exqusite piece is so damaged all that is left to
do is cut away the badly affected areas and arrange the piece in a
frame, to be hung on the wall. and to be reminded of a time when real
attention to living life " IN PRINCIPLE" in harmony with dicipline, was
exercised.


so some of these patches we've worn out need to be completely thrown
out, cut off and redesigned.....we are all immigrants or not.

I believe in defending and supporting the rights of all American
citizens. If foreign nationals choose to enter our country legally and
become American citizens, then I support them and wish them well, as we
are all immigrants for the most part and everyone deserves a chance to
better him/herself under the American system.

However, those who wish to subvert the system (illegal immigrants) and
then claim they are entitled to benefits under that same system I have
no use for, as IMHO they are NOT American citizens and are not entitled
to the same rights and privileges of citizenship as those who enter this
country in the proper (legal) fashion.

i haven't read the substance of this bill, so i'm not for certain what
my stance is on it...i reserve the right to decide when they publish it.

when they publish it..it will be too late lulu..it will be law....
ask yourself this....who is gonna pay for all the services for
another 100 million people in the next 15 yrs..

oh yeah..our children will pay..not my problem..

our elected fools in washington pass these monster bills
without telling us about them...

I'm an immigrant from another country, but my family did everything
legally to enter and stay in this country. It is a previlage for us to
be here, one that we do not take for granted. If this bill gets passed
it would be a slap in the face to every individual and family that has
worked hard to be here.

I have nothing against illegal immigrants but I just think if they want
to be entitled with the same previlages as American citizens then they
should pay their dues. I don't feel that the govt. should just hand it
to them for free. Why? Everyone else had to bust their ass to become
an American.
