I saw her on the news today saying that she's been set up. She thinks it goes back to the "gay" statement.

Someone set her up and forced her not to do the duties required to keep her title? laugh

I had to laugh when she blamed it on the gay statement. Hello? Does she remember "breach of contract" with the photos?

So...now we have 1) gay statement 2) Breach of contract with photos 3)unwillingness to make appearances.

And...she thinks she's being set-up?laugh slaphead

Carrie Prejean will end up mud wrestling at one of the many strip joints in the San Diego area (which *surprise surprise* she is from) when all is said and done. Her fifteen-seconds of fame have all but run out, and these recent turn of events are nothing more than her grasping for one last breath of relevance.

The whole "gay marriage" fiasco was obviously a publicity stunt between Prejean and entertainment queen Perez Hilton meant to get people to watch the Miss America pageant, which has been suffering low ratings and even lower turn-out for the better part of a decade now. The whole franchise has been irrelevant for the longest time, and even the use of skimpier and skimpier bikinis haven't been able to save the dying waste of network TV airtime. Heck- not even the promise of Mario Lopez or Dean Cain hosting the event have helped the ailing franchise.

And we can thank Teh Donald for the fiasco, being that he's still living his dreams of being a reality TV show hack via "The Apprentice". I'm just surprised he didn't come out on TV and say "you're fired!" to Prejean on national TV.

Just the fact that the Donald has anything to do with a pageant cracks me up. I can't take him seriously much less the notion that he would... oh never mind.

So IF it comes out later that she didn't go against her contract and that she was fulfilling her duties and that everything she has done since she responded to the question, will you think differently of her?? not likely.

My opinion of her went downhill when she broke the morality contract that the contestants signed. She lied about that too.

I guess if you believe all they write in those so called newspapers and TV news programs, then I guess you could be right, but I prefer the facts before I will make that judgement of her..most people just didn't like her opinion, and they want to destroy her any way they can..it is a shame that America has come down to this kind of thing..dont' you think??

1. her response to the question giving at the pagent was how she felt. she would have caught it from the other side as well. it was a controversial question...so of course any answer would be controversial

2. the pagent committee already ruled on the pictures....so that is a non-issue

3. she is NOT doing her duties now. Not showing up (unless medical condition or something like that) does mean she isn't doing as she is supposed to
