In a mature relationship we understand that our SO has flaws and we do not try to make them perfect. We accept them as they are. Often the little flaws we love about someone at first drive us crazy as time goes on.
You simply cannot expect someone else to be your everything and that is what looking for Mr Perfect is really all about. This idea of a fairy tale happy ending is what makes relationships so difficult. |
