The dates I had were not local. I went on vacation and ended up meeting up with someone while there.

i have met a great guy.. we have been together for almost a year and a half now.. also i have met (in person) some really amazing friends from here too...
stick with it. you havent been around very long..
you just gotta weed thru the people who aren't right for you.. to find the perfect fit..

I think it takes patience. There are a lot of hornballs and lonelyhearts on here and they have about a snowball's chance of really clicking. The onus is really on the guys to realize that; unless they are looking for other guys, they are going to have to invest a little time and caring in the women. This is not "findabangpartner.com". At least that's the impression that I get.

i have met several people from here (more than 5 at least)

no real chemistry with them

and every one of them kept the appointment to meet but 1

so those are pretty good odds i guess

and some future appointments are in the works when i start my adventure this fall

i think one of the keys is that you do not rush it and ya don't expect anything other than an appointment

and if ya get along and it advances great if not what did ya lose (nothing} and ya had a lil time with someone new

i cant think of any of those i met that had not said let me know when you are back in town (some i still talk to on the phone) and i am supposed to have dinner with one of them sometime in the near future

so yes you can meet people here and if they are the one great if not you may make a friend---if not big deal
