40 and life begins 50 and you're over --- the hill.
Well at 54 I died virtually physically and mentally and went through 20 years of hell in and out of surgery. Five years ago I saw daylight and I rose from the dead again. No I am not a vampire but in my dawning I suddenly find myself at 76 I am not into religion either, tho I may quote it LOL

What I am trying to do now if get off my seat and back into the bush chasing birds and wildflowers with a camera and a caring partner. Maybe ?? maybe not! As Darryl says, If you never nver go, you'll never never know"...

So we live in hope that there is probably at least one lady out there who likes what I like and would like to string along for a few laughs and bit of fun.

FWIW :)tears

Hope everyone had a chance to see the moon rise last night . I revel at the sight of it and it helps me realize that there is a perspective to everything. Nothing more humbling to me than the big wide Universe . Or was it a Galaxy 500 ? A Nova ? A Vega ? Hmmm ...oh maybe Saturn....laugh

Good early afternoon everyone  . I saw the moon last night and it WAS beautiful! Life...is beautiful and precious. It's learning to be thankful for the good/happy times along with the bad/sad times. Being in a rush is not good. Take your time and "invest" in a person whom you think is interesting, and when it's right you both will feel/know in your hearts. I personally, have only felt that way once in my life and unfortunately it did not last a life time. But I will never give up hope. I stay happy with "investing" in myself and keeping myself open to new adventures. I stay close to God and trust his judgement in guiding me  .

New adventures have kept on the move most of my life.
Still new adventure await me, just need to get ahead of the day.
Howling at the moon is a grand time indeed, people look at me very strangely then some join in.
Life is beautiful indeed, the precious times give the beautiful moments to grand memories.
Hope is never ending, it endures heart break and tears from our losses.
My Angel that watches over me has been through some hard times.
My favorite metal is the one thats reads "never go faster than your Angel can fly "

In addition to Birds and Wildflowers I am also into astro photography and this is how I view the moon through my 10" reflector telescope, taken with a Canon EOS EF D350 with no lens. yes that's right no lens, using prime focus of the scopes two mirrors.

I hold copyright on this photo, but if it attracts a nice lady who is also interested in the heavens, what the heck.

The galaxy is a beautiful place to explore, its out of this world (pun intended)

There is only one problem......How do I put the picture in here? Duh.
I am sure you will want to see it...oops
