Ok. So I was walking into work tonight and I had a question strike me. If there is a ladder leaning against a pipe in the middle of the aisle....where is the cutoff point that indicates when you would no longer have bad luck for walking under a ladder??? I'm not walking under a ladder leaning on just a pipe no matter what.....  Who cares about luck!

It's sort of like the black cat superstition...
Once I read that they are actually GOOD luck which is why witches kept them as familiars. (Makes sense to me!) But because of the witch association, they became known as bad luck omens instead. I'm not sure what walking under/not walking under a ladder could mean, but I'm sure you can come up with a good reason! |

I think if it puts you off in the most instinctual way then don't walk under it...If in your gut it doesn't bug you at all then you're free to roam around
