Sounds about right to me. Same thing happened to me when I changed my profile  Well, that's because I can't help myself  I know I'm just so desirable   It must be my lovely picture which just exclaims "talk to me and I'll rip your face off"

I have heard time after time after time that when people get involved with someone on a site like this, that people start to meddle and try to get in the way of the relationship. Yet in the several relationships i have been in through these sites, i have never had this myself. So maybe its in the way you act yourselves, possibly. Im not really sure. I dont think its necessary to make announcements of a relationship. But best of luck to you both! Try keeping your business out of the threads, you will stand a better chance. |

I just think its funny as hell. And never will understand the mentality of it. I laugh every time I get another one... And nothing anyone can say or do will interfere between me and her.. Its just that simple.
WAIT I HAVE AN IDEA. Maybe some of the guys should just say there are taken and maybe then who knows? aww pats... had I known? NOT EVEN !

Well, if it bothers you so much...simply nip it in the bud... Take all the info off your profile & just post "TAKEN"... If you don't want the attention...don't draw the attention...like making this thread...LOTS of people do lurk in the Forums & never post...maybe they just want to see what the who-haw is all about?

I just can not believe this.. destiny and I are now a couple and we both changed our profiles to reflect that "we are taken".. Since the posting of this news I have had more "profile views" and I don't mean friends of either of us or people who know us through the forums. Then I have also have more "mutual matches" and even nudges. one was from France today.... It is like there is a neon sign flashing overhead .. try and get me... Can't they read?.. don't they understand that I am not interested in anyone else?. Is there some kind of hormone being produced that says.. I want him? |

Well I peeked at both of their profiles after reading that they were an item. One reason was to see where Duck is. Destiny is on my friends list and while we don't chat too often, I know her to be a very pleasant person to chat with. Just kinda wondering what it was about the two of them that they connected. I am happy for them. I bet it happens more often than is realized.
