“Memories of a Mother” As I sit here thinking of you today. Knowing I can’t touch you so far away. Remembering all the things we missed. I can’t even remember being kissed. Nor what it felt like for you to hold. Me, for I only remember the stories others told. About a woman that had so much love. And now resides with the Angels above. You were not there through the years. To help wipe away my many tears. But within I felt your love. You sent from heaven above. There has not been a year gone by. I have not looked up to the sky. To question God and asked why? And how could he have let you die. I remember the words Granny use to say. How God needed you in Heaven that day. She tried her best to take your place. Within her arms we felt your embrace. She told us all about a mother. That loved us like no other. She showed us pictures of your face. She told about a beautiful place. That is in heaven above. And that you still send your love. Letting us know that within our heart. Your love for us will never part. K.L.M 5/8/2009 In Memory of my Mom Billie Florine Schmidt 12/12/1926 – 12/14/1959 |

Thank you all very much yes she was only 33 when she passed away and I was a mere 15 months old & my brother was 5. My granny was 67 when she started to help raise us and lived to be 92 so we were blessed to have her with us at the times she was there will never be anyone to us like granny was.
