Saw something on the news today about "Green Funerals"...they plant you without being embalmed, in a biodegradable casket, without a concrete liner...supposed to be about 75% cheaper than a normal funeral... Have you thought about how you wanna be "disposed" of? I am going to end up in a Veterans Cemetary. It's where I should be, next to my Brothers and Sisters.

i'm donating myself to the genesis foundation; i've already drawn up the papers. first, the local peeps will harvest whatever organs or usable tissues for saving lives. then, i'll be transported to my church for a memorial service, $800 of which genesis will pay. i'll then spend one year being practiced on by physicians in a higher learning environment before being cremated and sent home to my family. there'll be no cost for my loved ones. i can still donate my organs. i can make a difference without breaking the bank.

I personally, don't give a rat's azz about what happens to my remains...I am thrifty in life & wanna be just as cheap in death... Does anyone know if you can still sell your body to science? Im pretty sure you can donate it... not sure about selling. As far as I know you can donate it to science but if that is your route at least donate your organs and eyes to those that need them. At least that is the way I'm going to do it then have my body cremated and my ashes spread somewhere nice and peaceful.

I want whatever organs can be used to be donated to whoever can use them. Then I want to be cremated and have my ashes scattered on the beach at Kalaloch (on the Pacific Ocean) - is a beautiful beach and my favorite place to go. I will be free at last!!! My daughter already knows this too.
