Wow! So that's how it flips. That is the first flip I have been a part of.

Betty, I was saying that Animals can be wonderful, but everytime I think about getting a dog I start thinking of all the cons involved.
and..pssssssssssssst..my daughter is taking her guinea pig and cat with her when she goes ( i hope I hope Ihope) To me, a guinea pig is a worthless pet, it eats n poops n eats some more!laugh I will miss her cat, but my old cat will be in heaven. They fight all the time because my daughter's cat wants to play.

well as far as I am concerned the pros of having a dog far outweigh the cons. But it would depend on your lifestyle if its a good idea or not. I am home all day and don't go away very often so no problem for me.

Wellllllll, right now I am home most of the time, but as soon as I find a job that will change. Either that or I will become independently wealthylaugh

I had dogs even when I was working..again no problem. And Tim has sweet little Dixie.

My problem is, I have a small house so I need a smaller dog, but I do not care to have a little yapper (hahaha) and I do not want a dog that drools, or one that sheds. Do you think they would have a robot dog I could buy??

Is she your dog, or your childs? It's hard to let go after you have fallen in love. That is going to be my thing with my daughter's kitten. I am home with her all day, and we have really bonded.

Tim , I hope you don't let that happen. It would be awful for both you and Dixie.
But then what the H---do I know about anything?

It was nice having Don and the dogs here, but even so I took off yesterday. Always have to walk them, entertain them, etc. I loved having them visit but it is nice to not have to worry about taking them out for a walk tonight. Plus I didn't have to get up early to walk them. Don took total responsibility for them. I just enjoyed helping short term.
