It takes a lot these days to surprise me... but when my parent's nextdoor neighbor came over to tell me the "good news" I was shocked.
The "good news" was that her pregnant 18 year old daughter just got married. And he's a really great guy and treats her awesome. He treats her like a princess. He does everything for her. He's not even the babies father. The biological father is in jail (apparently for abuse, child abuse, and drugs) and she isn't gonna help bail him out... AGAIN!
So, her daughter meets this wonderful man and he's gonna take care of her and the baby. It's true love. Such a wonderful guy.
Ooohh... they met 2 weeks ago. They just got married on Tues, their ummmm.... 2 week anniversarynoway noway noway

So when will they be making an appearance on the Maury Povich show? laugh

oh and her other daughter, got pregnant when she was 14. She's also been married and now divorced. I think even married again. I think the child is about 6 by now...
...I'm hearing that 'deliverance' banjo music somewhere- oh yeah, illinois.

 A few of these guys learn their lesson. All it usually takes is another girl to be desperate enough for attention to choose them in order for them to make the same Nice Guy mistake again.

Hummmm I only asked one question. But then you put everyone in this thread as judging others seems there is some judging on your part as well. JMO

It is naturally for others to be curious. If one does not ask then how will they know. noway

My self I married my ex 2 months later and we were married for 11 years so yeah it can last but........normally if two only know each other for 2 weeks then something is fishy now days.

Now if they knew each other prior then I can see it happening.bigsmile

I hate to say it but this marriage is doomed, 2 weeks is not long enough to know whether or not your in love.
She is using him so her baby will have a daddy and will dump him when her ex gets out.
there is def a screw loose with him, That or she must be really great in the sack, cause most guys won't even buy ya flowers in the first 2 weeks of knowing ya.

I wish it luck but as soon as the baby is born, and he gets out of jail then she will be back with him.

what i'm trying to say here is who are we (and i include myself) to pass judgment on anyone we don't know? we have all made mistakes and thats all part of life, if the couple are making a mistake then it's their business. now how many of us would have listened and paid attention to what others thought when we were young and loved up? but for the grace of....... and all that! waving

I agree with you all the way as far as that goes. Plus to be honest I'm sure there is much more behind this story then has been told.

To each their own in what ever they do in life.

What is funny is people fail to remember or too young to that back in the day where marriages were pre-arranged couples had not meet till the day of the marriage and funny thing is many of those marriages are the ones that lasted 50 years or more............whoa

So anything is possible.....
