My "REAL" Grandmother, not the one I grew up calling Grandma, but my Father's Mother died when my Father was 4 years old.

This has always been a point of both sadness and strength in my life. I have always had a great sense of loss for never knowing my "real" Grandmother.

However at very important moments in my life, I felt her presence so very strongly. A "Guardian Angel" if you believe in that kind of thing.

I am very aware that emotion can play tricks on the mind, but
I have come to believe that if she was in my heart, she was INDEED with me.

Her name was Alma.

Do you believe...or at least believe in the belief?

I definitely believe I have at least a couple looking after me. Or at least with me during some big moments in my life. My Dad for one......

Yes I believe that.. I went to an indian woman reader at a Pow Wow last Oct.. She told me many things which really hit home but she told me that someone was watching over me. This past yr so many things in my life have happened for the better and I feel a presence around me everytime it happens...Could me my mom, she always said she loved me but never showed it while alive...but someone is there..

I definately have guardian angels or spirits, relatives that have passed, some not known. If we tune into our feelings and intuition everything becomes clearer. When you feel that someone is near you or in the room, you're feeling it for a reason. A lot of us don't pay attention.

By that logic Mirror leaprecauns should be in general religion
so if you'd like to comment on the trip instead of the vehicle that would be cool

I feel that my grandmother is always with me. The others that have passed I don't seem to feel as strongly.

Three of my Grandparents passed before I was born, and the fourth, my Grandma, passed when I was 3 or so. There have been times when I was younger, and doing the STUPID things that young boys do, when I could hear an elderly man saying "Junior, don't do that". I have never been called Junior, but my Dad is a Jr. I think it was my Dad's Dad letting me know I'd get hurt.

When I listened, and stopped doing whatever, I was fine. When I didn't listen, I got hurt.

Here's to You, my Grandparents. drinker

Yes I strongly believe -- something is with me all the time especially over the last 15-months of being out of work. Whoever or whatever it is keeps me from doing something stupid during these stressful emotional times I've been experiencing. Sometimes I know it's my parents -- other times it's something else good very close by.
