On My Porch
Oh, how the leaves start to play in the whispers of dusk. Time to settle down, only for my wonders to make their final energetic spark before the sky blankets their curiosities with twinkle and twilight. Back home the sky is an enormous ballroom, waiting for the orchestra to cease its tuning. The lights crash and a lightning baton leads a symphonic thunder crash. Then still and wet, the earth coos as the frogs remind you it is their season. Raine Les 4/15/2009 |
