Go JR!!!Almost got the pole this time...His head is clearer since he

Once again, I'm a little late in getting on topic.
Whoo-hoo, Coca Cola 600 tonight. I don't have it in me to sit through the whole thing, but I will be watching. I was supposed to take my son to the shoot out, but I was away. There's always next year. Fave driver would probably have to be Elliott Sadler. I just have a thing for the Tidewater accent. I also dig Smoke because he stirs it up. Would love to see Kasey Kahne sweep the weekend? Any predictions for tonight? The weather should be beautiful and the track racey. |

Whoda thought it would end that way...LOL Kyle Petty gets third
OMG...Unbelieveable...I thought Jr. had a great shot at winning till he ran short on gas!! Oh well 8th will work.He is in 13th place now. Smoke had a great run. |

hat's what keeps the sport so interesting ...You don't know who will win
till they cross the checkers. The big question is..where do you get a sample of Junior Johnson's new Moonshine? He is LEGALLY selling the stuff that started NASCAR! It's 80 proof and he said it is triple stilled!!! |
|
|
|
Here's the official news on the above subject:
Piedmont Distillers and NASCAR legend Junior Johnson have joined forces and introduced the company’s second moonshine product, Junior Johnson’s Midnight Moon. The company will continue to produce its popular original brand, Catdaddy Carolina Moonshine. Johnson is now a part owner of Piedmont Distillers, the only legal Distiller in North Carolina. Johnson’s new brand, Junior Johnson’s Midnight Moon, joins Catdaddy Carolina Moonshine, which is now available in eight states, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Wisconsin, Illinois, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Junior Johnson’s Midnight Moon joins Catdaddy on North Carolina store shelves this week and will follow in several other states immediately. Distribution in additional states will be announced in the very near future. “I am really proud to own part of this company,” Johnson said. “I’ve done a lot of things in my life, and my history in the moonshine business is no secret. Back in the old days, we learned to drive cars fast because we’d go to jail if we didn’t. Now, you can buy part of a moonshine business, tell everybody where they can buy your product, and it’s all legal. It’s a different deal than it was back then. I’m looking forward to being a part of this company.” |

Jr. racing with Tony Stewart and Denny Hamlin and Yeley would be a
definite threat to the Hendricks empire. I just hope that Gibbs allows the beer in the mix. They need that great sponsor to add to the money needed to domminate the Nascar circuit. |

Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr., racing together as teammates -- it's
a powerhouse combination of megawatt marketability that could become reality at Hendrick Motorsports as soon as Wednesday. Earnhardt has scheduled an 11 a.m. ET news conference at his JR Motorsports shop in Mooresville, N.C., during which he will announce his plans for next season, according to a team spokesman. Sources have indicated to NASCAR.COM that those plans center on Hendrick Motorsports, the most successful organization in Nextel Cup this season, with 10 race victories in 14 starts. |
|
|
|
I feel that this is not good for NASCAR. If Jr. goes to Hendricks it
will be even worse with the lopsided amount of wins mostly going to the Hendricks organization. It's a good move for Jr. however that wants instant wins. He will win a lot in that #5. So...Does Shrub leave and go to the #8? Wow..I thought Shrub had a pretty solid position there but..maybe not! He may have gotten into just one too many fights and tantrums!! |

Junior will be rollin in this race!!
