Eye contact? I would just be staring at your boobs anyway so, the shades are irrelevant.

There is a song, "When You're Cool, The Sun Shines All The Time"

Personally I am emotionally invincible/invisible with my shades on,
you can't see me-can't hurt me-can't tell I am hurting.

What are they hiding? Those bloodshot eyes from all that pot they were smoking. LOL

It annoys me to talk to people wearing sunglasses, especially the mirrored ones where I'm staring back at myself. I need to see people's eyes when I converse. As a courtesy, I always remove my sunglasses when I talk with someone.

I think some men wear them so they can check out a woman without her being aware where his eyes are wandering...or hovering.

shades I will talk to someone whether they have sunglasses on or not. It doesn't bother me in the slightest.

If someone is uncomfortable or does not wish to talk to me because I'm wearing sunglasses that is too effing bad. Find someone else to talk to. shades

How ironic. The OP was written by someone who doesn't even have a profile picture. whoa

It is comforting to be among friends who understand me and accept me for who I am.

You have me smiling,smile2

If one was/is objectional because the OP
was written by someone who doesn't
even have a profile picture,
I am going to quote Waterloosunset,
"....that is too effing bad
Find......................" smile2 tongue2 smile2

Then again many dont fill their profile with a self photo,
which is the requirement if one is going to add a picture.

A few add not themself but pictures of wallpaper/comic/pets etc
why not just leave it blank, then show one self as a DOG.

Still smiling...

I run into this occasionally -- and rarely does anyone ever see me without dark glasses, because my eyes are very sensitive to bright light and I get excruciating headaches -- but if people choose to see that as "hiding," well, so be it -- that's a choice they make....

I have a similar issue with bright sunlight or even electrical lighting can bother me. Are your eyes blue? Sometimes blue eyes are a lot more sensitive to light.

I never stare at boobs, and I wish they'd stop staring at me.

I have a work colleague who suffers from diabetes, can't remember the ins and outs of it but it caused some sort of issue with his eyes. He wears sunglasses everywhere, indoors and outdoors.

Like Lex I am particularly sensitive to sunlight (more so from the glare from the footpath) so in bright weather I wear sunglasses and I don't particularly care if someone thinks I am being ignorant to them by keeping them on during a conversation. Likewise, if someone is talking to me with a pair on, I don't think twice about it. I sure as hell don't think they're hiding something.

Yeah, very blue and very myopic.
