Let's see, the guy takes off to persue the bright lights and the big city with other folks like him, leaving you behind, and now that he's done with that he's coming back to good ole reliable stable you. Sounds like the good girl bad boy syndrom to me.

Jess, from what ive seen you are a beautiful, intelligent person. I dont blame you for being scared as hell, or perhaps of having the feelings as to wanting to run although being excited about all this. I think you should do what "you" want to do after all "he" did what he wanted to do in the past."you " are important and deserving. It's a hard thing to do to give it your all, when in the past all it did was get you lonely "in a sense." Having feelings for someone as the way you describe is pretty intense and im sure it sorta hurt that he left in the first place even though you wanted him to follow his dreams.but you have to remember that you should be a big part of his dream also..as far as running .. i think not, because you have the feelings.. but being cautious would be a good idea..make him slow down and yes breathe while trying it out... i hope all goes well for you

I'll be watching this thread to see which Path you choose...sounds like it is indeed a very exciting time for you! This path was chosen the first time we locked eyes, seven years ago....both have taken different crossroads..accepted aspects of each other, respected the differences... This path was drawn a long time ago...we just had to be distracted for a while elsewhere, to know who we really want to stand beside. Can someone give me a push? hahahaha!

Sounds like the good girl bad boy syndrom to me. From the outside looking in, it would appear that way. Nothing 'good', nor reliable in this gal! We parted, in honesty. He was a musician with relative success, BEFORE I met him...his success grew WHILE I was with him, I had the CHOICE to go with him, but raising a family on the road, whilst he was on tour, ridiculous...it was MY choice to stay. in any post you have read of mine, where did it say DOORMAT? or DUMARSE?...this is and always has been EYES WIDE OPEN... I know, hard to believe... I have had other relationships, other loves, other almost catastrophes...as has he... this is not a whim, this is his LIFE Priority decision....and mine. |
