Of course if you are wanting to ask a question one needs to be open to whatever answer is given.

It's not the answer, but how that answer is delivered that determines how I will react.

I think if a person is asking for an opinion, they had better be prepared for the answer even if it's not what they want to hear.

Hahahahaa!!!!! I wonder sometimes...I just had an interesting back and forth with someone here...and he was being very respectful, and explained his actions...it was not a direct criticism of me personally, and not even really a criticism of my thoughts.

Pointing out inappropriateness could be perceived as a criticism...and it would have been easy to take it that way.

However, he was being very respectful...so there was no room, to get on my high horse...a great example of how easy it could be to be reactive to criticism...or perceived criticism.
