 When and why was the last time you cried? Was it a movie, a memory, hurt feelings, anvil on your foot? The other night I watched a documentary about Annie Oakley. She married at age 15 and when she was about 66 she died and 18 DAYS later her husband died and they said he was buried right next to her. I immediately broke into heavy tears! I never know what's going to trigger the boo-hoo nerve.sad

I cry all the time now.
Damn pregnancy hormones! frustrated

I did have a well deserved cry earlier today. I got home from work, and waiting for me was the bassinet that I gave to my sister after I used it for my daughter almost 11 years ago. Now I get to put my new daughter in it. It's really starting to sink in that I'm going to have another baby here soon.

Sadly I have strong emotions. I cry when I am sad, I cry when I am angry, I cry when I am happy. I won't ever have to use drops for dry eyes! laugh

My grandson was in a musical at high school recently.. It was a take off of Elvis and most of his music was played..The kids did a wonderful job and I cried throughout.. Brought back memories of my high school days in the late 50's...

 Oh, yes, Extreme Makeover will usually do it for me too.
And seeing a faithful animal that went through hoops of fire for it's owner
a soldier, at the end of a movie, limping home on a crutch with a bandage around his head
a child looking out the back window of a car crying for his parents
any death bed scene
.....I used to try and suppress crying at a movie but it hurt my throat and my sinus' filled up. Now I just let 'er go wherever I am.

YES, those songs! I can't get through "Are You Lonesome Tonight" without blowing my nose twice.

I'm a crybaby...
I probably get teary-eyed every day over something.

I should say it's generally over something good, sweet or otherwise positive. Still, it's a little embarrassing, actually.

day before yesterday

my stupid friend gave me the movie "Simon Birch" to watch on my laptop while I was in dialysis treatment

That movie is so great! Tears are wonderful and healing. I wonder why we all feel so embarrassed by them?

We were "taught", crying is a sign oe weakness.
Thus, when we cry, we are weak.

NOT necc. so.

Yeah, but it still plays heck with your eye make-up (don't you have that problem??? LOL!)

Some people "cry pretty" but trust me...the rest of us look like red, puffy crazies!

Takes a lot to make me cry, has to be something more personal to make me cry.
