Topic: Anyone into cars? | |

I remember as a kid my brother had a GTO, can't recall the year. That was a fast car. He had a Dodge Dart too that was ugly but had a lot of power. I miss that car. My best friend's hubby wants a '69 GTO Judge so bad he can't see straight. It KILLS him that there is a guy in town that has one, perfectly restored, lol. |

Cool I hope you find one, I miss it myself Me too! I'm going to take a trip down south in a couple months, see if I can't scare one up. On the plus side, they have the 2008 highlights of the auction playing tonight at 10 EST on Speed, so I am doing the crazy happy dance, hehehe |

Not so much a car guy, but I love working on my old GMC 3/4 ton 4x4! I use it as an offroading truck, but have spent a good 4 - 5 years working on it to get it to where it is now. There isn't a nut or bolt that hasn't been touched, and neither the engine, transmission or transfercase are pieces that ever existed in this era of truck ;)

Is anyone into cars?
I'd like to be into a 1965 convertible candy red mustang, but for now it's just a dream. |

In the 70's, I had 5 Mustangs which included 2 Fastbacks. One was a 65 and the other a 66 but never had a drop top. The only reason I ended up with 5 at the same time is that they were dirt cheap lol.

i'm a tinkerer. i got a merc villager with a blue printed casiron block nissan v6 about 220 hp. i make 26 mpg on the freeway. then i got my 1955 chevy 1/2 ton pick up im going low rider with an dropin a 383 stroker supercharged fuel injected small block in to.
i could go into the other 15 vehicles ive owned but these two are my faves. a minivan makes a good sleeper, no one expects it to hit 130 mph in 1.7 miles. the 1955 chevy has been in the family for a long time. |
