It shows both the good AND the bad parts of human nature, and all in a day of moving, too. Gets you right in the heart and socks you right in the gut at the same time.

You could say that- the "gettin' you right in the heart" refers to your friends stepping in to help out, while the "socking you in the gut" refers to your... well... situation.
