It was only an hour so came home took the boys to lunch, did some laundry, cleaned my room for the maid tomorrow.. LOL and had some family drama all in a matter of a few hours...

Yup. The old "gotta put the clothes away" story. If there ever was a better anti-drama excuse to have, it'd be that one.

Yeah. I just kinda clam up when anything "dramatic" comes up. I learned a long time ago that screamin' and hollerin' only amounts to more screamin' and hollerin', which is not good, needless to say.
So I just sit there and take my medicine... whatever that would be.

I won't sit there and take anything but I won't get heated unless it's unavoidable OR you engage me at the wrong time, then usually it's "oh sorry for you"...

Yeah. If you're provoked hard enough, then you GOTTA act as it's not only your self-respect at stake but potentially your physical safety as well.
I usually let stuff slide until someone touches me in a manner that I don't like, and then it's what I call "pretzel time"- that's where I turn the offending person into a pretzel.
