i really dont see the problem, once its out in space we could take it out and claim it was space debri..whose gonna know its not like there will be any witnesses and all the evidence will burn up on re-entry...think ..all in the timing ..the perfect crime..muaha haha..hahaha...laugh

Just look at the launch angle. A surface to orbit launch (like say one of our's) has a different ballistic track then the NKorean launch. The NKorean device was either not meant for orbit or malfunction in the boost stage.

If it was not a malfunction the missle was intended to show an intercontintal ballistic capability. (in other words they lied and we know it).

Perhaps it is time for the US to use the same respect for the United Nations Security Council that North Korea has shown.

They can't launch missles if a few cruise missles streak in and destroy all facilities associated with launch, assembly and control of missles. We could then thumb our noses at the UN and claim that we are not bound by UN mandates or sanctions (as every one of the rogue states do every time they feel like it).

for those of you that think this is blood thirsty...

What will the result be if North Korea and Iran get the capability to launch at will?
One claims it wishes to completely destroy Japan.(how many people dead)
The other claims its goal is to obliterate Israel.(again how many of the earths children would die).

Lets not re write history eh? Korea tested its first nuke while George "the traitor" Bushs was president. We were bogged down chaseing boogey men in Iraq by the way and did absolutly nothing. laugh

lets not 'party line' history either.

Bush the President in power at that moment in history did exactally what needed to be done to engage peacefully that situation and resolve it (if the NKorean leadership had been world minded).

Iraq's nuclear capabilities fled to Iran in a massive airlift during the first few hours of our invasion... Which is why very little was found. Iran then shipped some of the research to North Korea while working on it in Iran also.

do yall just watch the news and accept or look at it and comprehend.

So Bush is responsible for Clinton's failed policies? gotcha.

It has nothing to do with being in Iraq and everything to do with diplomacy. If an unfriendly entity has nuclear weapons capability, you do not go invade, you have to do it diplomatically. Just give up the party line bull**** already.

Link or source for what...

Pull up the old news tapes and watch from the point the news services begin reporting. Right in the begining they tell you that a lot of Iraqi planes fled to Iran. TRANSPORT planes. Iran then seized them and refused to return them.

Before you nag me that this wasn't part of the Iraq conflict.

Just because it was labled the first gulf war has no bearing... It was still the first non diplomatic engagement of Saddam... And part of the full confict.

The US wont do anything.
N. Korea has nukes now!

We wont attack a country that has nukes.
Why do you think Iran sees the need to get some?

Every nation owes it to themselves to have nuclear weapons. It's either that or be strong-armed by some happy world policeman.

Why do some believe that one can fight evil with evil?

What a futile pursuit.

For good and evil are two poles of a magnet.

It being well known that like seeks like.

Evil grows when one sows evil.

Time to put a stop to the beast.

May you breathe, in peace, the spirit of god!

With every breath you take.
