ok serious question or I came up with an invention which by the way would be my 3rd this month... LOL... Do they have something to take a dogs gas away? my dog is killin' me over heyah... The only thing I can think of is that sprayable Lysol stuff that's supposed to cancel out odors and stuff. Otherwise you've gotta take a look at what you're feeding your dog. |

don't they stink no matter what Moof? If not what can you feed dogs that won't make them stink?

You'd be surprised.
Some pet food manufacturers use a different formula for their kibble than others, whether it be increased amounts of filler (wheat, etc.) to other additives. The kibble can interact with a dog's digestive system a certain way that can result in gassiness, much like eating chili or broccoli can make humans wanna poot like mad. You could try switching brands or even switching the kind of pet food you've been traditionally feeding your pet. If you've used Iams, try Science Diet (or some other brand)... if you've been feeding your pet canned food, try kibble or vise versa. |

I just bought him a different brand so will have to try another.. LOL

Were you having "issues" BEFORE you went with the brand you just went to? Or were you traditionally having to contend with the gassiness? That's usually an indication of what's going on and how to handle things.
Not only that, but you might wanna hold off on changing brands at least for a couple of weeks, as the dog's digestive tract kinda needs to adjust to the new stuff. In fact, if your dog's pootiness is a new occurrence, it might be because he's trying to get used to the brand you just went to. Either way, wait at least for a couple of weeks- if he's still lettin' 'em rip, THEN you might wanna change to something else. |

Funnily enough, my (now dearly-departed) cat burped a couple of times in his life. They were pretty earth-shaking, too. In fact, I thought he had gotten into my beer (again) at one point from all his burpin'.

I've never heard a cat burp, that must be interesting to say the least...
