Swapmeet is Santa Fe Springs hun.. No it's not new, I haven't ever been there but my sister says it's really a nice place for a play... I saw a play at a small playhouse in NJ, I thought it would suck when I was used to Broadway but it didn't, it was very quaint and nice.. I saw Don Quixote, what an awesome play that was...

Prncs is probably refering to the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, which is just off of the 5 Freeway in... uh... La Mirada. I was there on a job a couple of years ago- it was for a litigation having to do with a Vegas circus performer who got injured slipping on something. There's a pretty neato-torpedo sammich shop nearby, too. They made some pretty cool Egg McMuffin-like sammiches.

Used to be a GREAT swap meet at the La Mirada Drive in.....not familiar w/ Perf Arts Ctr LOVE Shakespeare in the park right there in GG...went for years

Yeah. Cathy Rigby does a number of shows in that place... stuff like "Peter Pan" and other theatrical crap. It's a rather interesting smaller theatre- it holds around 1,500 patrons and pretty modern as far as theatres go. I wouldn't be surprised if local theatre companies did plays and stuff out there on occasion.
