The day I finally stopped allowing people to walk all over me.

I was 13, my sister was 16. My dad left my mom and US for his best friends wife.

It was around 1981. I was in a punk rock bar called Zeros Nu Wave Lounge. A local band called The Ft. Worth Cats were playing when I looked up and saw two beer bottles coming from differant sides of the room crash into each other above the dance floore. I haven't been the same sense.
I have a better one about being back stage at a Kiss show, but that one takes too long to type. |

I was in Europe, getting ready to try out for a division 2 Pro team, got food poisoning, told the coach I couldn't, he said ok come back next year WE LIKE what we see, then went on THE BEST vacation all over Europe for 4 months, things sure would have been different hadI NOT gotten sick ... :)

Basically had some family troubles and ended up on my own at 16. I was trying to go to school while living out of my car. Was laying in my car one night and realized that I could never have pictured myself in the current situation, then I started to question all of the norms and things people "have" to do and realized life was nothing like it seemed.
