I liked The Never Ending Story where that big turtle said, "We have been alone for so long that we just started to call ourselves 'we'.

I can't think of the name of it, but it's that movie where the couple got stranded in the ocean after scuba diving and they ended up being attacked by sharks and died, or so the story goes. That was a horrible movie. I fast-forwarded through just about the entire thing.

One of my favorite movies, (even though it wasn't very popular) was "Something the Lord Made. I thought it was a really good movie myself.

The Movie you are thinking of is Open Water and while bad it's better than: Death to Smoochie, From Justin to Kelly (the American Idol movie), and Glitter. My favorite movie was American Beauty.

"Best" is subjective. There are literally thousands of magnificent movies. To try to narrow it down to just one would be a ludicrous exercise.

Worst? A lot to choose from there, too, but I'll still stick with "A Night At The Roxbury".

ohhhh, i know the worst movie ever made. hell, it even got an award for being the worst movie ever made! its so bad in fact, that it's actually entertaining.

Ed Wood's: Plan 9 From Outer Space.

RENT THIS MOVIE! hell, i own it, and i'm not ashamed of it. it was Bella Legosi's (not sure the spelling of his name, he was the original Dracula dammit!) last movie, literally. he died midway through making it. so for the rest of the movie, they had a guy in a cape with his hand up over his face so you couldnt tell it wasn't Legosi (Brandon Lee eat yer heart out! laugh)
coupled with that, the "hubcap/paper plate dangling from a fishing pole" (seriously) flying saucer, and the cheap $1 store toy rayguns, and well, just the over all $hittyness of the movie was enough for me to fully agree with the people who gave this the before mentioned award!
