Pelosi is a locust! She wants to let more locust in out country.

Our country didn't used to be ours. We took it. We (almost all of us) are implants..immigrants. Our country is the land of the free ppppfffhhhhttt....at least it used to be. Just ask any native that has the info. White man took what didn't belong to him and broke it.
Yeah, my white man relatives...I am confused though...I am of German immigrants and Cherokee Indian. So don't listen to me.

Kat

This is not true. Before America was a country it was in control of the British. We went to war with them and they lost.We won the country fair and square including who ever was occupying it at the time.As far as the Native Americans...although the US government may have took over and killed some of the Native americans and their land. The majority of it was sold or traded to the US government as records will show. And of course it wasn't like the Native Americans controlled every square foot of land in America.

Not everybody who lives in America immigrated from another country.I have traced my ancestors living in present day America since the 1500's.That means anyone living in American prior to 1776 can legally say they have always lived in this country.

This isn't true either.

Typical liberal thinking.Lets reward those who break our laws and scold the ones who try to enforce it.Someone needs to throw that prune faced Pelosi out into the gutter where she belongs.I think Ms Pelosi needs to speak to the victims of families killed by illegal immigrants many of them who have been arrested many times in this country and let free.Doesn't she realize how many murders, rapists, drug dealers, and others who are fleeing from the law in Mexico to cross the border illegally into America?Does she really think it is just Mexicans coming over? One border patrol officer was asked what is the scariest thing he see's out there? He said "prayer rugs".

A subject nobody brings up is how is this fair to the other immigrants who came here legally? They filled out the paperwork, paid the money, went through the process, did what is right and now they can't get a job because of some illegal immigrant took theirs.

I am getting very tired of hearing that they are doing jobs that nobody else wants to do.That is utter BS!I know for a fact there isn't a job that any American won't do.A large number of illegal's do very well opening their own farms, body and repair shops, mobile lunch trucks, restaurants, gardening and landscaping services, house construction, and many others.Working the blue collar industry my whole life I have worked with a great deal of both legal and illegal immigrants and none of them were working for minimum wage. Many times they were making the same amount or close to what I was making which was in the $15.00hr range. If you got the skills to make that company money nobody cares where you came from.

You are not being truthful in this statement. You have stretched a few things. MOOC

Please enlighten me.

Pelosi is not saying that immigration is not a problem that needs to be addressed for one.
Nobody wants to reward those who do illegal stuff, the punishment needs to fit the crime and in this case just crossing the border is not a serious crime. Second not all illegals are serious criminals as you implied.

Third, illegals are not making a killing from the employers who hire them. Fourth the only way you do not know of illegals that are making less then minimum wage is if you are not paying attention to the ones you think might be illegal. Fifth, how do you know they are illegal because they have an accent? They speak spanish? Come on now.

Right wing hate propaganda is where most of what you wrote comes from and I suggest you get more truthful information. My opinion of course.

Does anybody remember the fact that Mexican emigration has dropped 42% the last two years due to our high unemployment rate and the housing crisis?

Yes that is more than evident here, because the illegals in the area where I live are all but gone, mostly home to mexico, others have left for other states. I have been told by some they are going to NewYork where they have jobs waiting for them.

Thomas you do tend to exagerate. There are many jobs americans will not take and that too is evident here, those jobs americans will not do are still done by illegals and mexican americans. Maybe where you are it's different but not everywhere. And by the way California is not and armpit state, many wonderful people live there. They do tend to evolve a bit faster than other states but they also have the same issues and problem of every other sate as well.

not sure if he got it from right wing hate propaganda whoa or from what he has seen. but he didn't say ALL illegals are serious criminals. but even if it's just coming here illegally (hence the name) it is a crime....not serious..but a crime and should be dealt with accordingly. some make a lot less money...some make the same money.

Your post is nonsense.Anyone who has kept up with prune faced Peliso and the Democraps have known that they have tried many times to block border patrols from arresting people, created safe havens in cites like San francisco and Los angeles, tried to pass bills preventing illegals from being deported, and much other nonsense.

In the population study of 55,322 illegal aliens, researchers found that they were arrested at least a total of 459,614 times, averaging about 8 arrests per illegal alien. Nearly all had more than 1 arrest. Thirty-eight percent (about 21,000) had between 2 and 5 arrests, 32 percent (about 18,000) had between 6 and 10 arrests, and 26 percent (about 15,000) had 11 or more arrests. Most of the arrests occurred after 1990.

They were arrested for a total of about 700,000 criminal offenses, averaging about 13 offenses per illegal alien. One arrest incident may include multiple offenses, a fact that explains why there are nearly one and half times more offenses than arrests. Almost all of these illegal aliens were arrested for more than 1 offense. Slightly more than half of the 55,322 illegal aliens had between 2 and 10 offenses.

Sixty-one percent of those defendants had been convicted at least once; 18%, 5 or more times; 26%, 2 to 4 times; and 17%, 1 time. Of those charged, 49% had previously been
convicted of a felony: 20% of a drug offense; 18%, a violent offense; and 11%, other felony offenses. Twelve percent had previously been convicted of a misdemeanor.

Household Income. Another way to think about the relative position of immigrants compared to natives is to look at household income. The median household income for immigrant-headed households is $43,933, which is 89 percent that of the $49,201 for native households. In addition to having lower incomes, immigrant households are 28 percent larger on average than native households — 3.1 persons versus 2.4 persons. As a result, the per capita household median income of immigrants is only 70 percent that of natives — $14,126 versus $20,247. This is important not only as a measure of their relative socio-economic standing, but also because it has significant fiscal implications. Lower household income means that in general immigrant households are likely to pay somewhat less in taxes than native households. Larger household size means that in general immigrant households will use somewhat more in services than will native households. Since households are the primary basis on which taxes are assessed and benefits distributed in the United States, the lower income and larger size of immigrant households has important fiscal implications.

Illegals are not eligible for services so that is not accurate. As for the financial implications there is not one accurate site of that either.

Considering they buy our gas, food, clothes, household items, pay rent, pay public service, have cell phones, etc... They contribute tax wise in this country.

Think again. They receive medical care at our hospitals. Their children are attending our public schools. The children make eligibility for government benefits (i.e. illegal lives with legal family member, has kid, legal family member claims them for all kinds of government goodies.)

They're much more a drain than most realize. California's government costs have been rising and our legal population is falling. explain that. especially the disproportionate hikes in places like los angeles compared to other places.

not to mention that every one of them is breaking the law. you know, just that small, little detail.

Not true I worked for the welfare department and illegals get nothing, nada. No matter if others claim them as part of the household or not they are not given anything.

As for the cost of Medical at the hospitals, not all illegals ignore their bills. Hospitals bill them just like they bill us and many pay their bills.

The cost of indigent care at hospitals has falsely been used to incite anger at the illegals but the indigent costs include all citizens also so it is not accurate.

I already said that the punishment must fit the crime and just crossing the border is not a serious crime.

I have to say Dragoness, he is rigth about the above, it's the same here, I see it with my own eyes, and what the illegals also do is impregnate 'willing' young american women then they share in the assistance the mother takes in, sometimes leaving the babies with out until the next check. So this does exist, though maybe not in all states.

Alot of this is assumption though. People cannot be sure if someone is illegal or not.

This is my point always with this issue. People make alot of assumptions, there is alot of misinformation floating around to "back up" the hatefilled rhetoric.

Add assumption to hatred and you have a soup of easily mislead angry people who only see what they want to see.

Not saying you are one of these types of people at all so please do not take it that way. I am just stating how all the misinformation is spread and taken as fact.

Well I would try not to assume anything with out asking first but though I agree with you that some allow their hatred to dicate what they think about an issue, he was right on those things he brought up, it is happening here. Where do you live that this doesn't happen?

Produce ain't just picking in the fields. there are some dang good paying jobs in the processing plants. The Employer doesn't have to pay tax,ss, workman's comp, nada.
They are taking jobs in;
Construction
Roofing
Road repair and building
Landscaping
Many other fields.
Check and see if you could be replaced by cheaper labor.

Go ahead and defend Illegal activity and the destroy America attitude. I refuse to be Obamanated.
